You may see a new button at the top right-hand side of this screen that looks like this:

Clicking this opens ReciteMe which provides a new set of accessibility tools (screen brightness, contrast, text-to-speech etc.) for use on the WLP website. These are described in the new Accessibility Guide. You can also download this from the right-hand menu on most module pages. The Moodle ATbar will remain for the present for those who use it.

Worship: Leading & Preaching

Worship: Leading and Preaching is the authorised training course for Worship Leaders and Local Preachers in the Methodist Church. It is designed to equip us for mission and ministry in a changing world, and to embrace new ways of being a church, new technologies and innovative ways of learning.

Ongoing Learning

Continuing development as a worship leaders or preacher happens in many ways. Experiences we have, books we read, films we watch can all be opportunities for reflecting on what God is doing in the world, and how we can respond in faith.

Singing the Faith +

Singing the Faith Plus (StF+) seeks to support meaningful, creative and inclusive worship by exploring Christian faith "expressed in and inspired by words and music" by acting as a one-stop-shop for resources and advice for preparing and leading worship. It supports and complements the Methodist hymn book, Singing the Faith (2011).

Bible Month

Bible Month is an annual opportunity to celebrate Scripture. It is an invitation to circuits, churches and small groups to feast on one particular book of the Bible together. Many resources and training opportunities are available on the Bible Month website.

Preach Magazine

Preach is the magazine for Local Preachers, Worship Leaders and everyone interested in exploring how best to understand the Bible and communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ. Preach is published by the Leaders of Worship and Preachers' Trust (LWPT). Students on the Worship: Leading & Preaching course are entitled to HALF-PRICE subscriptions at just £15 per year.
